Hot Mixer Dust Collector

The Hot Mixer Dust Collector produced by FANCHANG Machinery, made of waterproof and oil-resistant polyester needle-punched fabric and other high-temperature-resistant materials, is designed to handle the wet and hot gases discharged at the beginning of the hot mixing process and the possible low-melting-point lubricant vapors contained therein. It mostly adopts the pulse reverse-blowing cleaning method, where compressed air pulses are sprayed onto the filter bags instantaneously to achieve thorough cleaning and a high level of automation, making it suitable for continuous production conditions. The cleaning control is achieved through timed control to ensure that the system resistance remains within a reasonable range.

Main Functions


The main functions of the China Hot Mixer Dust Collector supplied by FANCHANG Machinery factory are to handle the dust-laden exhaust gas generated during the high-speed hot mixing process. Specifically, they include:

Material recovery, recovering valuable powder materials. When PVC resin powder, calcium carbonate, talc powder, stabilizers, etc. are fed into the high-speed hot mixer, a large amount of dust is produced. The dust collector can efficiently capture these dust particles and automatically or manually return them to the mixing process (usually to the hot mixer or connected to the subsequent cold mixing procedure), avoiding formula distortion and raw material waste.


Environmental protection and occupational health, purifying the emitted gas, ensuring that the gas discharged from the hot mixer meets the national or local environmental protection emission standards, preventing the leakage of dust from the production workshop from polluting the atmosphere; safeguarding the health of operators. PVC dust and other additive dust (such as certain stabilizers) are harmful to the human body if inhaled for a long time, and the dust collector maintains the micro-negative pressure state at the feed inlet of the hot mixer and in the workshop, preventing dust from escaping and creating a clean working environment.


Maintaining process stability and safety, stabilizing the working conditions in the mixing chamber. Through continuous ventilation, maintaining a stable micro-negative pressure environment inside the hot mixer. This is conducive to the smooth discharge of moisture and volatile substances, removing free water and low-molecular volatile substances from the raw materials; preventing dust leakage and "powder spraying" that cause safety accidents and pollution; eliminating explosion risks. Plastic dust suspended in the air is explosive at a certain concentration. The dust collector removes dust in a timely manner, reducing the dust concentration in the working area.



Our Hot Mixer Dust Collector is equipped with an explosion-proof device, which automatically opens to release pressure when the internal pressure surges. It also features anti-static filter material and grounding. The filter material incorporates conductive fibers, and the entire equipment is well grounded to prevent the accumulation of static electricity and the generation of sparks.


The product adopts a structure design conducive to material recovery. The conical ash hopper has a large angle and a smooth inner wall, preventing the accumulation of damp fine powder and crustation.


It is equipped with a rotating discharge valve, which can not only discharge continuously but also serves as a sealing function to prevent external air from entering and disrupting the system balance.


The recovered dust can be directly returned to the production process through pipelines or conveying devices.


The parts in contact with PVC dust and certain additives are made of stainless steel to resist possible trace corrosive gases such as hydrogen chloride.
